Ballooning is the oldest form of flying. Since the very first flights in 1783, the hot-air balloon has remained essentially unchanged although its technology and materials have, of course, like the skills of its pilots, advanced significantly with the times. Today, riding a balloon is no longer a flight into the unknown but, quite the contrary, it is now one of the safest ways of flying.

One of our favourite places to fly is Segovia. The city offers a wonderful scenery to behold from the sky: the Cathedral, the Roman Aqueduct, the Alcazar (City Castle) and Sierra de Guadarrama National park in the background. Both the area and its microclimate are ideal for balloon flying.

The activity begins early in the morning, about 8:30 AM in the winter and 7:30 AM in the summer, when the air and winds are most stable. Therefore The whole activity takes approximately 3 hours including inflating the envelope, boarding, flying (about 1 hour), landing, packing the envelope and taking back to our launch field in our vehicles.

Finally you’ll enjoy a special breakfast and be awarded with a Balloon Flight Certificate and make a traditional toast with Cava following the aeronautical tradition.

-If you book for working days, you can book up to 3 days before the flight. For weekend flights we highly recommend to book at least 7 days in advance.

-The activity requires that you get up early and places are very limited, therefore your booking is definite. If you want to cancel or postpone it, it is necessary to do it at least 72 hours before the flight. Likewise, booked places will be lost straight away if passengers don´t show up before balloon taking-off.

-Must not suffer from vertigo.

-Minimum age 7 years old.

-Activity not recommended for people with heart or bone problems, excessive overweight, or for pregnant women.

-Please note that all times are subject to change without prior notice due to weather conditions. If you go from Madrid, add 1 hour and 15 minutes of transfer.

The activity is insured according to the European Regulations.

Our pilots are professionals with trade qualification issued by EASA (European Aerial Safety Agency), and extensive experience. We also have all the necessary authorizations in terms of active tourism. You will flying in the best hands!

Our balloons meet the most stringent airworthiness regulations established by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). They can accommodate from 8 to 16 passengers in compartmentalized baskets upgraded for touristic flights.

The customer accepts the fact that meteorology is not an exact science, and therefore expressly waives any claim arising from the assumption that Dreampeaks will cite him at the flight site in view of a favorable weather forecast, and then The activity can not be carried out due to bad weather conditions on the day of the flight.
